From BWW: Geva Presents A CHRISTMAS CAROL. It is definitely that time of year again!
I finally got Geva’s advertisement for their upcoming season in the mail recently with Jim on the front. I really don’t know what took them so long. I mean, even though I don’t live anywhere near Rochester, I think the number of tickets I’ve bought over the years must be in the double digits by now.
Has it really been almost a year since Amadeus?
As I look at Geva Theatre Center’s brochure for their 2010-2011 Season, a few questions pop up in my head. First, are those supposed to be tickets or two blank sheets of paper? Who even uses clam shaped cell phones anymore? And is that person with the watch on her right hand a lefty?
Oh, and if you were curious about Leah Miles and Donny Codden, here’s a video from last year’s benefit thingy with Jim:
There’s a bunch more videos from the event if you go to the channel directly.
I’m a little behind on my blogging but here’s Huth Photo’s A Christmas Carol pictures. Sandy and I were supposed to see the show during the weekend, but there was a family emergency and we ended up not making the drive :/
It won’t be the same but maybe I’ll read the book again…it’s been awhile and the kindle version is free on amazon since it’s under public domain now.
Rochester City Newspaper: REVIEW: “A Christmas Carol” at Geva Theatre Center.
There’s a new video up at Geva’s youtube channel with footage of this year’s cast.
You can also download the mp4 file here if you want to put it on your ipod/iphone.
If that’s not Christmas-y enough for you, watch this next!
FINALLY! Geva finally updated their main page with Jim as Bob Cratchit!
